6 week programme to guide you through your pregnancy and prepare your mind & body for birth, motherhood and beyond.

Expecting a baby in 2024? This prenatal yoga class is the perfect fusion of yoga and hypnobirthing techniques to help you feel calm and confident during your pregnancy and as you approach the birth of your baby.

 

Each week, I will guide you through yoga sequences, designed specifically for second and third trimester of pregnancy, to keep you active and feeling strong throughout your pregnancy. The postures and transitions have been carefully sequenced, with each class based around a theme and the corresponding element and energy centres. The yoga postures and movement provide maximum benefit in relieving common symptoms, aches & pains, including back pain and pelvic discomfort while supporting freedom of movement in the body throughout your pregnancy.

 

In addition to the main yoga sequence, we will also be bringing positive birth ideas to mind, encouraging a deeper connection with your baby and preparing you for a strong, active and empowering birth.

​​I will guide you through a series of practical hypnobirthing techniques that you can use during your pregnancy and the birth of your baby. These include breathing techniques, visualisations, setting the right environment for a positive experience... and much more!

I also include information on that all important hormone oxytocin, the pelvic floor and exercises you can practice, how to use a birthing ball during pregnancy and labour and many more topics that help you to prepare for birth physically and mentally.

The classes are designed to help you feel more confident and positive in your body and mind as you approach the birth of your baby.

Our small group classes will give you the opportunity to connect with other pregnant mothers in Harlow and surrounding areas. I hold classes at The Parent Hood of Harlow, a really central location and accessible location with free parking.

​

You do not need to have any yoga experience to reap the benefits of a pregnancy yoga practice. I provide mats and blocks so you just need to bring yourself and a bottle of water.

These classes are perfect for those in their second and third trimester. If you are in your first trimester and keen to take part, please contact me on the email at the bottom of this page to discuss.

Towards the end of the 6 week programme you will have the option to book the next block and take the course again. Many of the expectant mothers I teach choose to continue to attend classes all the way through their pregnancy, having experienced the benefits during their first 6 week block.

PRIVATE & ONE-TO-ONE PREGNANCY YOGA

I also offer the classes described above on a private basis, either one-to-one or a small group of pregnant friends, family, colleagues etc.

Birthing partners are welcome to join private sessions at no additional cost. This can be very beneficial for your birthing partner to understand the techniques you will adopt during pregnancy and labour and be able to advocate for you on the big day.

​

Private classes can take place at your home or at the studio for an additional fee.

​

Prior to your session, I will schedule a free phone or video consultation with you to understand exactly how I can support you and make the best use of the private session.

​
